International Coffee Day: A Lucky Dip With Something for Everyone

On Wednesday 1st October 2025, we celebrated our first International Coffee Day at Caffè Ducale. 

From the moment we opened, the cafe was filled with a little extra energy, helped by the presence of a brass raffle drum, a dedicated host, and a stack of prize cards waiting to be drawn.

Guests were invited to draw a card from our raffle drum after making a purchase, with prizes including:

• An espresso

• A Caffè Ducale Freddo

• Handmade almond log biscotti

• A $5 credit to use on the Caffè Ducale App

• 125g bags of our Traditional and Signature blends

We saw queues of regulars and first-time visitors alike taking part, with many returning later in the day to redeem their prizes or share the moment with a friend.

Whether it was a complimentary espresso, a bag of beans, or a little something sweet on the side, our aim was to create moments that were worth remembering.

To us, coffee is more than a beverage: it’s a ritual, a connection, a small joy. International Coffee Day gave us the perfect opportunity to pause and reflect on what makes our community so special, and to thank the people who choose to spend their time with us.
